Port Hope, Canada: Published by J.C. Ansley, 1855. Hardcover. 67, [1], vi, [2]p., boards. 7.75 x 4.75 in. Bound in gilt tooled leather, title stamped on front cover within a decorative border. Warm presentation inscription on front flyleaf, from Gerald Hayward, signed and dated Chicago, 1866. Good. Volume of patriotic poetry about the Crimean War produced as a fundraiser for the war effort. Scarce Canadian imprint.
