Methuen & Co. Ltd., London, 1920. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 274pp. Red cloth lettered in black at the spine and upper board. With a three-panel folding frontispiece map and eleven other two-colour maps. Some fading to the backstrip cloth, a little wear to the spine ends and corner tips, and some quite light chafing to extremities. Top- and fore edge spotted. A nice bright copy of this account of the Battle of the Marne, written by the Special Correspondent of 'The Daily Chronicle', who billeted with the French Armies throughout the war..
