About This Item

New York: G. Schirmer, Inc., 1894. Possible First Printing . Sheet Music. Good Plus. 9.25" x 12.5. Schirmer #19951. Edited and fingered by Max Vogrich. A richly-nuanced barcarolle, with Lisztian filigree-work - in G minor and marked Allegretto; 7 pages, its front cover listing "Compositions for Piano by Russian Composers", its back cover "New Music for Piano Solo", as published by Schirmer. CONDITION: an unmarked copy which has been evidently trimmed to excise frayed page edges, with residue evidence that the spine had at one time been reinforced with masking tape. The score notation is not compromised. RECOMMENDATION: As a precaution, I advise that you make a photocopy for performance use, storing this original in the clear, protective polypropylene bag with backing board we have provided. COVER SCANS: Most scores are too large for my 8.5" x 11" scanner, so the images are often not complete to the edges (i.e., are "cropped"). Please consult the "condition" section for a verbal description of edge-wear and other details. NOTE: Multiple score orders, depending on weight, may qualify for a generous shipping charge reduction.
