Limitation page at the rear with Rooke’s signature, printed at Gaspereau press, 60 softcover copies and 13 casebound copies. This casebound copy unnumbered. Spine lightly sunned, small rub mark on the front pastedown. Beautiful handmade grey/gold endpapers, small pencil erasure on first blank, interior fresh and tight. A lovely copy of a very scarce book. Biblioasis No. 1. The first limited edition chapbook in this series, by the master storyteller and Governor General's Award winning author. Leon Rooke is a novelist, short story writer, playwright, editor and critic who was born in rural North Carolina, but has lived in Canada for many years. ; Biblioasis; Vol. 1; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 61 pages .
