About This Item
Unknown, 1936 This is a combination graduation/autograph book from Jewell Patterson who attended the Tulsa Beauty School in Tulsa, Oklahoma around 1935-1936. String-tied oblong book about 6 by 4 1/2 inches with blue & gilt covers. She may have been from Choteau since several of the pages are from others who lived there. In the group of laid-in material there are a couple of Mae West jokes that are beyond risque for the day. Also many hand written verses of the type that were written in memory books. The young woman was pretty frisky. This is one volume in a collection of some 65 of these old Yearbooks ranging from the late 1800's to the 1940's mostly from the Midwest. Rear cover creased; light wear. VERY GOOD Language: eng Language: eng Language: eng. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
