Maroon decorated card covers, just a touch of rubbing to the extremities. Internally the first few pages are a little 'wavy' - negligible - o/w this is a very good large format paperback book. (xv) + (1) + 462 pp. Flat SIGNED without dedication on the title page by the Author, otherwise unmarked. Clean and tight throughout. Harry Guest (Henry Bayly Guest) is a British poet born in Wales. He was appointed Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Exeter in 1994. With his wife, Lynn Guest, a historical novelist, he lives in Exeter. A selection of his poetry was included in Penguin Modern Poets 16. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate (LittD) by Plymouth University in 1998. Apart from his many collections of poetry, he is well known as a translator from the French and Japanese, and has published several novels and non-fiction books.
