In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket. Slight fading to the base colour - negligible. All titling, etc, very clear. The d/j is not price clipped. The page fore-edges are lightly 'toned' with age and with some foxing spots (pale tan/brown spots) . The light 'tanning' to both top and bottom edges has bled into the edges of some pages, o/w NO INSCRIPTIONS or other marks. 143pp, all hinges sound. Blue Boards fair only, complete but titling all but disappeared to the spine, and a former owner has decided to 'improve' this book by colouring in the faded edges of boards. Corners and head/tail of spine lightly 'bumped'. Rear edge of the spine splitting, but holding fast. There is a circular stain on the back board and the publishers blind stamped logo. Extremeties rubbed. Internally generally very clean, but a few blind stamps on few pages including title page, (Bradford Library and Literary Society). The corners and edges rubbed, and the head/tail of spine bumped with a little hole to the very foot of the red cloth spine. Internally there is a tiny booksellers label (Wm.
