The book in mainly about the visual arts written to heighten the pleasure of viewing. 186 pages with 12 colour and 150 black and white illustrations. Book in good condition ex library with stamps and stickers inside front cover and on first two pages, stamp on title, preface, page 101, conclusion, last page and inside back cover. Pages 93-98 have come away from binding, bottom 7cm of title page has come away from binding , page 159 has 9cm tear to bottom, some pages have minor foxing and some tanning to pages. Cover has wear and reference on spine (see photos).
