Providence, Rhode Island: Brown University Press. Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1964. First Edition. Hardcover. Light olive green cloth over boards. Binding sound and straight. Book is free of ownership or other markings. The edges of the text block have a very fine ink spray pattern which might be decorative or indicate that the book is a remainder. DJ is price clipped and has rubbing at the corner and along the top edge, a short closed tear at the tail of the spine. There is a small hole in the DJ near the tail of the spine which is visible in the photographs.There is no foxing in the book. ; Maps, illustrations, plates; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; xv,331, plates pages .
