Decorated endpapers slightly yellowed. 196 pages with yellowed edges. Clean and tight interior. No writing tears or marks. DJ not price clipped, rubbing along edges, closed tears, chips bottom of spine and at corners. Back of dj has photo of the story subject, Ann. Story of a girl, Ann, and her mother who helped to civilize parts of the West in early Wyoming. Ann had her own horse and she was taught to rope and ride and swim by stage-drivers. Scarce title in very nice condition.. Illus. by Suba, Susanne. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Stated. Hardcover. Near Very Good/Good.
