The bottom and front edges of the text block are stained (maybe coffee) mostly in Chapter 1. Otherwise, the book is in Very Good condition. The staining extends at most 1/4"" into the margins. The covers are in great shape. The binding is square and tight. Small abrasion to the front flyleaf. The interior pages are clean and unmarked. The book will be carefully packaged for shipment for protection from the elements. USPS electronic tracking number issued free of charge. This is the second edition of this best selling problem book for students, now containing over 400 completely solved exercises on differentiable manifolds, Lie theory, fibre bundles and Riemannian manifolds. The exercises go from elementary computations to rather sophisticated tools. Many of the definitions and theorems used throughout are explained in the first section of each chapter where they appear.
