Versailles: Severe Dacier, 1784. [10], 200 pp. 12.5 x 7.5 cm. Full spotted calf covered boards with gilt double line fillet framing to boards; smooth spine with six gilt panels; all edges gilt; gilt dentelles and French curl marbled endpapers; seven unsigned engravings including frontispiece with title. Includes the "erotic" engraving "Conclusion du Roman" bound facing the frontispiece. Wear to head and tail of spine. Splitting along front and rear joints, but boards still holding firm. Some wear to edges of boards and corners. Interior clean and unmarked. Binding still firm. . Hard Cover. Very Good.
