He learned to understand them and their way of life. They treated him with respect and as a friend whom they simply called Father Al. 224pp., bound in rust cloth lettered in gilt, sine lettering gilt, previous owner's name and date. A very nice copy in good unclipped pictorial dust jacket with a few spots of soiling and wear to edges.
