Orange-red cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on spine and front board. 224 pp 8vo. This is the story of Father Braun, the Mescalero Apaches, and the St. Joseph Church on the Mescalero Indian Reservation. Father Braun worked with the Mescalero Indians for almost 30years and incorporated traditional ceremonials into the church. A missionary to the Indians, Father Albert also gave prayer to the soldiers on Bataan during the war and in the POW camps in the Philippines and Japan. A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
