Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 167 pp 8vo. The author was a member of Rommel's Afrika Korps and captured in Tunisia in May 1943. He was taken to the US and was n POW camps on Oklahoma and New Mexico in 1944. He worked in the Mesilla Valley picking cotton and harvesting melons. With the end of hostilities in Europe, he was sent to England and returned to Germany in 1947. A clean pristine copy.
