Complete twelve volume set (plates, sometimes bound seperately, appear here at the end of each volume). Includes one volume in duplicate, so 13 volumes total. "Upwards of 160 Elegant Engravings"-black and white, curious illustrations of fish, animals, odd mechanical devices such as a diving bell (early diving tank). In original paper-covered boards, with titles bordered in frame design printed on. Many boards loose, spines cracked and chipped. Scarce. For large books sets, shipping to be adjusted to cover actual costs.
