About This Item
New York: The American Collector, 1928. Hardcover. Very Good. Facsimiles & Photographs. Bound volume of this publication for book collectors and dealers which was originally comprised of the six months from October 1927 to March 1928. The binder added the April and May/June issues, even retaining the covers for the latter. Many facsimile pages of rare books, several articles on books concerning Freemasonry, much more. Some authors include J. Hugo Tatsch, Harry B. Weiss, James E. Hungerford, Douglas C. McMurtrie, many more. Includes Bibliography of works by Paul Laurence Dunbar. The slate-blue buckram shows only light wear. An unmarked card pocket is affixed to the rear pastedown, but there are no other library indications. One leaf has a 3" tape repair; another has a 2" unrepaired tear. The binder penciled in a few page numbers to keep the collation straight; this volume is otherwise unmarked. Uncommon. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
