New York: G.P Putnam's Sons, 1884. First American Edition. Octavo. Princess Alice was the third child and second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. This is a biography written by her sister Princess Helena. Portrait frontispiece, 407pp, (4)pp. ads at rear, bound in blue cloth over beveled boards stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt, floral endpaper's previous owner's name and gift inscription, minor shelf wear. A very nice copy.
