Silver pebbled cloth binding with dark green ruling and lettering. Index. Frontispiece photo of the author in front of her fireplace and Victorian furnishings. An interesting Depression-era cookbook by the restaurateur with many retro recipes for such treats as Cheese Dreams, Carrot Ring (stuff with Lobster Newburg) , Chicken Roly-Poly and Maple Fandango. There was a certain verve in naming recipes in these vintage cookbooks. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 292 pages .
