Light foxing to some pages in the text volume, the hand-colored plates shows some foxing and light discoloration in the halo outlines around some fruits, the brown cloth bindings are bright and clean, overall a very good copy.. (First volume, text): Pp. viii, 340; numerous numbered text-figures (outline drawings of fruit); (Second volume, plates): Pp. viii, 81 full-page hand-colored plates of fruits. Elaborately blind-stamped and gilt-decorated cloth with gilt spine illustration of wheat and corn, 4to. This two volume set covers the fruits grown in 19th century New York. There are excellent hand-color plates of fruits. This is volume three of the Agriculture of New York published in two volumes (text + plates). No ownership marks.
