The shocking story of captured B-29 Superfortress airmen who were shot down over Japan during WWII and their brutal treatment by the Japanese Kempei Tai Secret Police. Designated as Special Prisoners/Accused American War Criminals they were to be tried and executed for the killing of innocent women and children. While awaiting trial they ere starved on half POW rations, were denied hygenic needs, denied medical treatment, and allowed to suffer and tie from torture and malnutrition but a few, like the author survived to tell the story. A clean very presentable book.
