About This Item
Paris: A. Z. Mathot, 1920. First Edition . Soft cover. Very Good. 10.5" x 13.5. An exceedingly scarce copy of an outstanding French piano Sonata by an unjustly forgotten composer. It is in one continuous movement, with frequently fluctuating tempi. 16 pages. CONDITION: A bright, clean, uncreased copy with light shelf-wear. There is a previous owner's signature at the bottom of the front cover, and (regrettably, or perhaps helpfully) there are many inked-in fingerings and other pianist markings throughout. This remains a quite respectable copy of a rare score - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with backing board.
