London, first edition, cxxxi, 1929. 588 pp. original maroon cloth titled in gilt with maps & plans including a folding map in a pocket at the rear. Original green silk ribbon; pencil underlining throughout; 2 of the foldout maps loosely inserted; covers lightly bumped but generally clean. Probably sounds worse than it is; overall condition is still very good.
