About the author

Born in Liverpool, Tim Cundle moved a seaside town on the South Wales coast in the late 1970s, setting a lifelong pattern of alienation and a discomfort with the status quo. After a youthful (mis)spent working a variety of jobs taken primarily to secure cash for gigs, and an education in behavioral psychology and anthropology, Cundle made a truly life changing move to America and then Canada. He taught marksmanship and riflery, worked in radio, both producing and presenting, and dipped into the life of road crew and guitar technician for various punk bands. On his return to the UK, Cundle created and produed Mass Movement, a music and lifestyle fanzime, that has evolved into the hugely respected and often imitated punk rock institution it is today.
