A hand-made, limited-edition run of 400 copies of this Bible were produced and sold for $10,000 per copy. Viking offers a manufactured edition at $65. Barry Moser is a member of the National Academy of Design and currently serves on both the art and religious departments of Smith College. His work is featured in numerous collections and libraries around the world, including The National Gallery of Art; The Metropolitan Museum; The British Museum; The Library of Congress; The New York Public Library; The National Library of Australia; The Vatican Library; and The Victoria & Albert Museum. As an illustrator, author, and designer, Moser has worked on more than 250 books, including Moby Dick, Dante's Divine Comedy, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Moser's edition of Lewis Carroll's Alice'sAdventures in Wonderland won The American Book Award for design and illustration in 1983.
