Henry Trevor Lenton (8 February 1924 - 7 May 2009) was an English naval historian, specializing in the area of 20th-century naval history and warship design. Very nice photo illustrated dust jacket in protective mylar. As with all categories of combatant warships, British cruisers were below the required strength at the beginning of World War II. 27 new units were building or under order. Not one had been completed by the outbreak of the war. Nice tight binding.
