Longmans, Green & Co., London, 1878. Sixth Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition. A handsome 3-Volume set, bound in contemporary calf, with armorial motifs stamped in gilt to front and back boards, titles in gilt on red morocco spine labels between raised bands, marbled endpapers and edges, ornate tooling to turn ins and board edges. Each volume has bookplate of previous owner on front pastedown, and library withdrawn stamp on title page. No other library markings. Volume 1 has ownership inscription dated 1881 on flyleaf. Minor rubbing and wear to boards, contents fresh and bright, bindings firm and secure. A very presentable set with no major defects. Shipped Weight: 1-2 kilos. Category: 60; Add.
