First printing of the First Edition, blue boards lightly rubbed, Very Good condition in a VG dustjacket which has a bit of water stain to base of spine; light crease to jacket flap. 302 pages. Page edges have an occasional darkening due to the boo having survived the 2019 fire at the Saint Mark's Place flat of Peter Schjeldahl, Angell's friend and colleague at the New Yorker. This copy was inscribed to Schjeldahl and his wife Brooke Alderson, signed with "love, Roger" and dated 4/28/06. Wonderful association copy of Angell's penultimate collection.
