Mychalewych, 675 Oakdale Ave. St. Paul, MN] on the title page.<br /> <br /> A first Ukrainian edition of "The Bottle Imp" originally published in 1891 as a short story by the well-known Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson usually found in the short story collection Island Night's Entertainments. In it, the protagonist buys a bottle with an imp inside that grants wishes. However, the bottle is cursed; if the holder dies bearing it, his or her soul is forfeit to hell.<br /> <br /> The book was published in a German camp for the displaced persons (DP) in the aftermath of the WWII. <br /> <br /> OCLC shows six copies of the book as of July 2019.
