Cassell and Company, Ltd, 1910. Hard cover. Very good. No dust jacket.. Written by Harry Higgott Thomas, the first regular gardening columnist for the Daily Telegraph. Green cloth, gilt embossed, with garden picture on front (happy to send photo as this is unusually lovely spine and front cover! ) Interior shows some foxing in first block of pages but otherwise clean and tight in binding. Former owner's name on front flyleaf. Sixteen color plates and 96 illustrations from photos. Color plates tipped in and overlaid with protective sheet with caption printed on it. Title page lists date of publication as 1910, no other dates shown. Overall a handsome edition.

Grosset & Dunlap, 1966. Hard cover. Good.. Clean hardcover, picture on front depicting Rick Brant putting out forest fire while flying with his rocket jumper. #21 in series. Back cover lists novels through The Veiled Raiders and Rick Brant's Science Projects. Black and white illustrations throughout, illustrator not credited. Pictorial cover, grey spine, matte finish. Grosset & Dunlap published the Rick Brant books in 24 volumes between 1947 and 1968, with 23 novels plus the nonfiction Rick Brant s Science Projects in 1960. This later title is scarce. Book interior is good with no marks. Cover shows shelf wear on top and bottom corners of cover, a mark like a price sticker on the spine below the series name and other minor scuffing on cover. Photos can be sent.

Probable American First Edition. Original price crossed out on DJ flap but flap not clipped. Owner's name stamped on front flyleaf. Grey cloth boards stamped in blue with watermark along front bottom of cover (not visible with DJ on). A minor foxing on front title page, otherwise clean text. DJ covered in Brodart, a few chips on lower edge, otherwise very clean. A rare ghost story by popular author. A nobleman dead some 80 years returns to his castle where a British film crew is making the movie of his life.

Complete text of Equal Rites printed in tiny print in miniature book. Third in this compact series that was "specially handmade by imps of the Counterweight Continent" (as the jacket states). Actually typeset in Great Britain and printed in China. Hard-to-find collectible for Pratchett lover.
