Upper corners dog-eared on pages 87/88 and 89/90. This extremely rare children's book, printed at The Riverside Press, was written by renowned American historian Henry Steele Commager, who helped define modern liberalism in the United States with 40 books and 700 essays and reviews, and illustrated by Lisl Weil, an Austrian-American graphic artist associated with the Zinkenbacher Malerkolonie.
