Folio, 4pp, American Revolution, fold lines, various articles, front page contains a notice of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth charging one William Brattle, late of Cambridge with treason and high crimes, page 2 contains a notice of Gen. Clarke setting out against the NorthernIndians, last page has a notice of a 10 year old molatto boy named Joe who has run away and reward offered for return and caution against harbouring vassels, small amount of loss in a few places, unmarked.

32cm by 21cm, 453[xvii], boards and spine heavily worn, binding firm and square, some pencil marks on flyleaf and lower corner torn off, rear paste-down lighly mottled/discoloured, good quality hand-made paper in excellent condition, a few neat notes in margins otherwise unmarked.

17cm by 12cm, 83pp, errata slip, inscribed to Irving A. Brooks and signed by the author on the flyleaf, some wear to brown cloth covers, titles in black on front panel, light pencil notations flyleaf and paste-down, unmarked.

17.5cm by 10.5cm, vii, paginated 9-55, first edition of the first biographical account of the first Christian convert in the Hawaiian Islands, with a Letter of Provenance from Mauna Kea Galleries, the book was formerly in the collection of John Dominis Holt, stapled booklet, two woodcut text illustrations, original printed wrappers detached, front cover heavily chipped about edges, title page has loss upper corner and lower edge, dog-eared pages, unmarked.

21.5cm by 13.5cm, 407pp, the first edition and Vol. 2 never printed, lacking plate illustration, contemporary full calf covers heavily worn, spine label faded, foxing throughout, some pages more than others, page edges darkened, lower corner rear endpaper torn off, previous owners name (in pencil-looks like Benjamin Johnson?)on front paste-down and title page, page 75 badly faded for some reason, a few notes in ink otherwise unmarked.

42.5cm by 22.5cm, pp215-286, rare, first edition, second issue published in 1749 same year as first issue, plain white paper covers have light foxing, small repair foredge of title page otherwise bright, unmarked, Sabin 33548.

8vo, 455 plus Appendix and 24pages ads for New Works, original ochre pebbled cloth with blindstamped border decoration, closed tear and some fraying along fore-edge of spine, otherwise very good and gilt titles still bright, illustrations and folding map bright, unmarked, colour illustrations with tissue-guards, ads on paste-down pages, binding pulling slightly in places but still square and firm, unmarked.
