Book has moderate sun to spine, rubbing and mild shelfwear to boards, binding tight, frontispiece's tissue guard off-sets full-title page, otherwise text clean and unmarked but gently toned throughout, gilt to top edge of block.

Copyright 1899, new edition published in one volume 1904. Unjacketed hardcover, cloth cover as shown with this listing is rubbed, bumped and scuffed.
