About This Item

1626 Scottish 1ed William Couper of Galloway Scotland Bible Anatomy of Christian

William Couper was a late 16th-century Scottish bishop of Galloway known for his preaching throughout different parishes in Scotland. However, it was his exegetical and religious writings that have given him his lasting recognition. His works include, most famously, "The Anatomy of a Christian Man" in which he describes the aspects of living a Christ-centered life seeking the heart of God.

This 1626 first collected edition of the works of Couper includes 'Anatomy of a Christian' as well as other important works such as:

· "Heaven Opened"

· "The Praise of Patience"

· "A Most Comfortable and Christian Dialogue"

· "Pathmos: A Commentary on the Revelation"

· various sermons
