Book has edge wear and is sun-darkened on spine and all edges, interior is clean, tight and unmarked. The dust jacket has chips missing at top and bottom of the spine with other smaller chipping. In this unusual volume of short stories the contrasting elements of beauty and ugliness, tenderness and irony are strongly marked. 288 pages..
