Publisher's full red cloth, black lettering and gilt decoration on spine and cover, top edge black, maps on endpapers. Original mail-in postcard laid-in. "This book was first made public in essence in three Cooper Foundation lectures at Swarthmore College." The postcard, supporting Union Now, was to be sent to Federal Union, Inc. in New York, and is an increasingly rare piece of World War II era ephemera related to the proposed unification of the English-speaking world.. Very slight wear at head and heel, very minor spots on spine, else fine; unmarked, tight, square, and clean. VERY GOOD. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. 256, (1) pp .
