Peter Davies, 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. First Edition. 280 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth boards with lettering. Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Hinges are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to back free endpaper. Frontispiece detached but still present. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor wear marks to boards.
