Oxford University Press, 1935. Hardcover. Good/Good. 1935. First Edition. 389 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over pictorial green cloth with gilt design and lettering. Colour and black and white illustrated plates. Rough cut edges to textblock with gilt top edge. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have very light shelf wear with minor corner bumping and crushing to spine ends. Mild tanning to spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled but remains brighter on front. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning. Clipped jacket has noticeable edge wear with tears, chipping & creasing. Visible tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine. Some additional moderate rubbing and marking to surfaces. Water staining to front panel.
