With a portrait frontispiece. A collection of tales from Italian poet Ludovico Ariosto, best remembered as the author of the romance epic Orlando Furioso. This text includes: The Fountain of Hate and the River of Love, Mandricardo and Doralis, Zerbino and Isabella, and many others. Collected by Joseph Shield Nicholson, an English economist. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and minor rubbing to the extremities. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good
