Boards have edge and corner wear, rubbing. Spine is sun faded and has a few spots, possibly liquid. Some writing on upper corner of free facing end page, in pencil and colored pencil - looks like old pricing or book store cataloguing information. Some spotting on fore edge. Indentation on bottom edge of first few pages. Text is unmarked. Binding tight. According to the publisher's note, Theodore Roosevelt had a life long interest in Western history and ranching lore. He "penned most of the fascinating pictures of fontier and ranch life" at Elkhorn, his Dakota ranch.
