An uncommon, first edition of this collection of three novels by Raymond Chandler, in the original, unclipped dust wrapper. First thus, being the first time these novels were published together in this form. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Written by American-British novelist and screenwriter, Raymond Chandler, who was most known for his compelling and popular works of detective fiction. This omnibus is comprised of three of Chandler's novels, 'The Little Sister', 'The Long Good-bye' and 'Playback', as well as his famous essay on the detective story, 'The Simple Art of Murder'. These novels were original published on their own in 1949, 1950, 1953 and 1958, respectively. In the publisher's cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely, with light shelf wear. Dust wrapper is excellent, with light edge wear and the odd mark, mainly to the rear. Light sunning to the wrap, moreso to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Near Fine
