The first edition of this collection of newspaper articles on sea warfare by the celebrated Rudyard Kipling. The first edition. In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking scarce dust wrapper.This work features a collection of articles about sea warfare written by the celebrated Rudyard Kipling. This collection includes 'The Fringes of the Fleet', which was first published in the Daily Telegraph in 1915 and then as a small booklet published by Macmillan, 'Tales of the Trade' which was first published in 'The Times' and 'Destroyers at Jutland', which was published in the 'Daily Telegraph'. In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking scarce dust wrapper. Externally very smart with bumping and light rubbing to the extremities, a slight lean, light fading to the spine and extremities of the front board and minor marks to the boards. A past owner's signature to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages and the odd spot and handling mark, heavier to the front and rear. Very Good Indeed
