A detailed history of Privateers and Pirates during the Elizabethan Age, with commentary on oceanic adventures, the Spanish Main and the challenges to Spain, merchants, and the fruits of endeavour. Written by Neville Williams, a British historian and archivist. Bound by Asprey & Co. Ltd. Bound in half blue crushed morocco with blue cloth boards. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the edges of the boards. The odd small mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Bound by Asprey & Co. Ltd. Very Good Indeed
