Signed. First Edition. Near Fine / near fine. 50 full page reproductions of paintings of birds by internationally acclaimed ornithologist and bird painter. Each painting gives the scientific name and pertinent lore about each bird. Laid in is a program for a Memorial Concert in tribute to George Sutton. The book is in near fine condition with toning on the front end papers from the laid in program. The corners are square and the pages are unmarked. The dust jacket has a 1/8" tear at the head of the spine, thus listed as near fine. The author has dated, inscribed and signed on the title page.
