An octavo measuring 8 1/2" by 5 3/4". Without its issued dust jacket. The second volume in The American Trails Series which followed The Wilderness Road. Three volumes were published by Bobbs-Merrill before the series was continued by McGraw-Hill. 431 paqes including an index.
