Van Espen è considerato il più importante rappresentante del movimento giansenista in tutta Europa. L'opera è composta da sette tomi legati in quattro volumi ed è completa. In good conditions and complete Full parchemnt coeval cover in very good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings and some yellowings. In tome III and pages from 303 until 312 and from 100 until 106 lare badly bound. Page 595 of last tome deatcehd from binding.
