London: The Rainbow Press,, 1971. First edition, sole impression, number 12 of 90 copies bound by Zaehnsdorf in calf, from a total edition of 400. This copy was retained by Ted Hughes and passed by descent to his daughter, Frieda, with her signature on the title page. Published by Ted and Olwyn Hughes at the Rainbow Press, Lyonnesse collects 21 previously unpublished poems by Plath; several were collected three months later in Winter Trees. Quarto. Original dark brown calf by Zaehnsdorf, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, gilt borders, endpapers reproducing in facsimile Plath's manuscript draft of "Lyonnesse" (here titled "Amensiac"). With the original orange cloth slipcase. Faint marks to covers, a near-fine copy. Tabor A13.
