Scribbles on front pastedown endpaper. Abrasions to rear pastedown endpaper. Foxing, heavy to title leaf.; No date [c1890]. [2 (title leaf)], [v]-vii, [3], 352 pages + 3 plates. Lacking the front free endpaper, half-title leaf and frontispiece. Blue cloth boards with black lettering on spine, gilt lettering on front board, colour floral illustration on spine and front board. Page dimensions: 189 x 127mm. All page edges gilt. Plates facing pages 70, 114 and 258. Also a few small in-text illustrations. .
