J. Dillon, 1799. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1799. Second Edition. 583 pages. Fully bound in brown leather with gilt lettering to spine and border to boards. Volume III. Book has been rebound. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Some heavier foxing and brown staining to a few pages. Light thumb-marking present. Brown marking to text-block edges. Light creasing to a few pages. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Leather peeling to all surfaces, with noticeable scuffing and scratches overall. Loss to spine ends. Heavy splits along joints, with boards very loose. Scuffing to title to spine.
