First edition, near fine black cloth hardcover shows some mild shelf wear, name and pencil shadow at top of front endpaper and some other mild wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows light bit of rubbing and soil, hint of toning along spine and edgewear that includes tiny chips and tears and larger inch deep open chip at front panel side of spine head. 642 pages including index. Still a good looking copy of these "informative and stimulating summaries of all the major philosophies and schools of thought, classic and modern, by forty-one eminent authorities.
